Technology Solutions

We study your workflow and propose transformative and cost-effective solutions to your business needs.

Leveraging our knowledge of technology and procurement law will provide you with a better understanding of what technology you already have, how useful it is, and what you need to move your business forward.  We help you find cost effective measures to lower your risks and ensure your business continuity.

We review your current workflow and processes and look for ways that improved technology can transform your business and increase your efficiency.

We help you find the best available solutions within your price point, and help you implement those solutions.  Combined with our legal services, we can help outsource your entire technology procurement process.

Virtually all businesses find themselves in the cloud. We help you understand what the cloud is, what risks it entails, and how to ensure you are getting a fair market price on your cloud services.

About Our Firm

Stephen A. McIntosh B.A., LL.L, J.D.

Founder and Lawyer

Hello, I’m Steve.

I have practised law in Manitoba since 2014, and have been a passionate technologist for as long as I can remember. Over the past five years I have had the privilege of negotiating dozens of major technology acquisitions, including multi-million dollar transformation projects.  My experience as in-house counsel with a large Canadian financial services company has provided me with unique insight into how business decisions are made with a risk management perspective.  This knowledge will help your business get better results in negotiations and help reduce your business’s exposure to legal and business risks.

If you get sued, or need to file a claim to defend your rights, I will represent you all the way to trial.

I have also participated in technology start-ups and recognize the challenges and rewards inherent in their development.  If you are starting up a technology business, or any business that requires some degree of technology, I will work with you on both the legal and technology aspects to guide you on the path to success.

Philip A. Zayed B.A., J.D.

Associate Lawyer / Language Specialist

Hi, I’m Philip.

Since time immemorial, helping those in need and serving vulnerable sectors of my community has always been a priority. As a Director for a real estate company, I engaged in frequent and complex negotiations with contractors and other trade professionals. My experience at the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution has also provided me with mediation and negotiation-based experience which will provide our clients with an upper hand when working on solving their most critical problems.

As a Legal Research Specialist, I trained lawyers and judges how to conduct research in a simple, efficient, and timely manner. Such skills will facilitate the breakdown of intricate questions as well as the search for sustainable solutions. Ultimately, I thrive when forced to think outside the box, and I look forward to assisting you in solving multifaceted issues.

Je suis parfaitement bilingue et il me ferait plaisir de vous servir dans la langue officielle de votre choix.
